This is the still-unnamed baby seal at the aquarium. It's the best picture I got of him, because when he was hauled out later in the day I had, of course, forgotten to bring my camera.
This is Buddy, the male harbour seal at the aquarium. He's performing a behaviour called "bottling" and he's just finished eating 15 fish. He gets 30 per day.
This is Chelsea, the female harbour seal, chilling out. She's also just finished her allotted 15 fish. I think she's one of the few animals who can be considered "pretty" that I've ever seen. Some are majestic, some are beautiful, graceful, etc... and she's all of those things, but she's also pretty.

This is a lovely grey lichen with orange apothecia that caught my eye on a birch tree near to the computer lab here. If you can ID it, let me know.
This is Needler Hall, the residence where we're staying. Inside it looks like a typical university dorm. And feels like one, too.
This is low tide at the bay right in front of Huntsman Marine Science Centre. Out in that fog somewhere is Passamaquoddy Bay, and across that, Maine.
This is a river that heads down into that little bay. I was exploring at 6:30am on the second day here, not being able to sleep.
This is the hill down from residence to lower campus, where I am typing currently. Lower campus has the aquarium, labs, and computers, plus other random buildings.

The Fundy Tides: Now you see it...

This is Rachel, the other environment biology student from Brock, Elysia from UWaterloo, and Amelie from McGill. We were beachcombing.

The view from the library. I saw eagles from here two days ago.
The hill back up. I have to climb that in order to get back to residence from the library. It hurts.
The path back to Anderson House, where we eat. This is at the top of the hill, by the way. But I think it's one of the prettiest walks-to-school I've ever had to do.
