Album: TO Subway
Photos from many of Toronto's subway stations. Many of these photos are dark and blurry... the plan was to take pictures of every station in Toronto. Between Simon and I, we came close. It seems like a rather pointless documentation of the underground, blurry and at times lifeless. I think that it was something to do at the time. You do get a feel for the subway, though.

Album: 12 Bridgeport, Waterloo
The inside of the old Laurel Industries building at 12 Bridgeport Street Waterloo, as it looked in Spring 2001. The building had been empty for several years. Inside were the remains of some of the businesses that had recently been housed in the massive building: A lithographer, machinist, shoe manufactuing...

Several months after these photos were taken, the building was purchased and converted to student housing. The exterior is moderately intact, but the inside, of course, is completely changed.

Album: Foymount, Ontario
A trip to north-eastern Ontario, November of 2002. The top end of the trip was in Foymount. (Which is the highest populated point in Ontario.)

The photos featured are in three groups: The first is from an abandoned camp of some sort east of Bracebridge, the second from the abandoned military residences in Foymount, the third from an abandoned ski resort nearby.

Album: Streetcar Museum, Milton, Ontario
Photos taken July 15th, 2003 at the Halton County Radial Railway, which is a streetcar and electric rail museum. I have always been especially interested in streetcars and subways, as (in addition to their basic coolness) my grandfather drove streetcars and subways pretty much from the end of the war until he retired.

Un-captioned shots around home... mostly in a drainage stream that runs past our building. Also, a nearby rail bridge remnant, and a canal dam.
